Competition 2010 Details:

For 2010 the Show will again be held at the St Agnes Church on Mumford Road in Halifax.

Our Official Judge for 2010 will be Jim Edsall.

Our theme bird for the Competition is a Kestrel.

A Grand Prize Draw for a carving by one of the club members will be held as part of the Show - details are not available yet.

For the 2007 Competition and Show we introduced a new event - an Inter-Provincial Competition in conjunction with our fellow carvers in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.  This was totally separate from our regular competition, which took place in the usual way (see below for the main Competition Rules).  This event was repeated in 2008 and 2009 and is expected to be repeated again in 2010.  Click here to see the Rules for the Inter-Provincial Competition.
