Colchester Chapter


For those carvers and artists who live in the Truro area you have the option of joining the Colchester Chapter of the NSWCAA.  The Club meets on Wednesday evenings from mid-September to mid-May from 6:00pm until 10:00pm.  Power carving tools are welcome at the meetings, and there are carving projects throughout the year.  New carvers and visitors are always welcome.

Membership in the Colchester Chapter includes membership in the NSWCAA Halifax Club.  This entitles you to receive the NSWCAA newsletter "Carve & Talk", provides full access to the extensive lending library, and allows you to participate in the courses offered by the Halifax Club (some fees apply).  The newsletter is distributed four times a year to fully paid-up members. It features upcoming events, association business, carving tips, library list and related subjects.  The library includes books, videos, study birds, fish and study bills for use by the members. A mail service is provided for members living outside the metropolitan Halifax area.
